Q. Can I choose the pieces I want in a bulk pack?
A. No sorry. Due to the low prices all pieces are our choice only but you can purchase special pieces from our 'Special 1st Quality Page' these pieces are are a little thicker with more attention and time to the sanding etc.
Q. Does your choice mean that we don't get a good selection?
A. No not at all. We provide around 20 different figures and put in more of the most popular ones like "Dora - Spongebob - Scooby etc". We have many return customers each year from schools, fetes, playgroups, craft shops etc.
Q. Are they suitable for fundraising?
A. They are perfect for fundraising. With our mixed bulk orders you have something to suit everyone. We have used the same pieces in shopping centre entertainment for many years and they have always been a huge attraction.
Q. How can we calculate how many we will require ?
A. This varies depending on the type of event and your area - if you are in a large town or city it is very difficult to estimate how many people will attend - If you are in a small outback town I would say allow two to three pieces per child. It is always better to over estimate than to run short and have dissapointed families and lose money - Remember any left over pieces can be stored for years in a clean dry environment.
Q. We have seen the same pieces as yours sell for up to $8.00 each with paints, so what is wrong with your figures.
A. 'Nothing' We supply many shops etc thoughout Australia who need to pay huge overheads also we have heard that some people have made their own molds from our figures, these people have no ethics and are in it just for the money.
Q. You say that you are a non profit business, can you prove it?
A. If we had to run it as a business we would need to charge at least three times the price just to cover expenses. It takes over three hours to collect materials, clean and prepare the molds and tools, make 100 figures, prepare packing materials, pack and post - this is without vehicle costs, material charges, web page cost and commissions to varios auction sites for our adverts. Sanding and wall hooks takes an extra 40 to 60 minutes but we do charge a little extra for this.
Q. Do we need to pay for postal insurance?
A. 'It is up to you'. We have only had around 4 damaged orders in all the years we have been going, plus one lost order which we replaced free of charge. Once it leaves us we have no control and can not provide any guarantee. Our packing is second to non and therefore insurance is up to you. We are genuine people who do not like to disappoint children, therefore we will always do our very best to get your order to you on time and in tact. |
